i laughed out loud multiple times this ep, but i was so stressed during the portia/jack parts. so scary. i also don't really buy the ethan/harper happy ending - they're just resigned to be daphne/cameron and happy about it??

Omg, the moment when Jack started driving, the look in his face was totally that of a psychopath lol. Great acting because it was like his entire demeanor changed.
Mike White said he’s thinking next season will explore death and religion in Asia. I’m hoping Greg takes a trip and is haunted by Tanya so we get some more of Jennifer.

I don't think there was a message here. It was more nihilistic. Like these are four people who all ultimately hate each other and are stuck in a cycle of hurting each other for the sake of status. In the end, Ethan could only get off when the situation was pretty fucked up and his sense of masculinity was restored through violence and fucking Daphne. Maybe a comment on the state of American 'straight' culture, idk.
I keep telling my friends/family that I think they might bring them back because of this line. “To traveling with friends. Next year the Maldives! More scuba, less pasta…”
