-The breakout character in the DC movieverse will not be back for a third film.

-James Gunn/Safran & WB have allegedly put an axe to the film as it does not fit in their 10 year plan (while Gunn/Safran are signed on to a 4yr contract)

-The new WB regime is not sad about it as this helps them save money due to Gal being paid $20mill for the sequel and Patty Jenkins, $15mill to direct.

-While WW1984 wasnt a direct hit critically/box office during COVID, it did major numbers for HBO Max and was the top selling home media film last year.

-Patty had just turned in her script for the film and Gal Gadot talked about bringing the character back.

-This news also comes as it is alleged that Henry Cavill has not signed a new contract for Superman yet despite his cameo.
