It’s not that bizarre when you learn adoption is trauma tbh. An adopted child is not a cure for infertility. The adoption industry is a multibillion dollar industry. How can it have the child’s best interests at heart?

Oh I just mean with her age. Having a newborn to care for at 52. And like will you be around by the time they graduate highschool? I'm guessing the husband is older as well.

I don't know where YOU live, but living to 65 years old isn't being "quite generous" these days, wtf. You can even do a quick google search that will tell you the average life expectancy for a male in the US is 74.5 and for women, 80.2 years. People in their 90's run fucking marathons, but yes, living to 65 sure is a hard achievement for most people!
