According to the rather questionable source of The Sun, 'The Holiday' is getting a sequel and is set to start filming next year

eh. I found it terminally uninteresting, no real chemistry in either couple or charisma in the story itself. This is as unnecessary as most sequels.

I watched it for the first time last year and came to the same conclusion. The storyline with the neighbor was great, everything else was so badly-written and hokey that it gave me secondhand embarrassment.

I tried my second watch recently and couldn’t finish it. The dialogue between Jude and Cameron, I genuinely remember sitting there thinking stuff like Someone was paid to write this???? and I don’t know if this writer has met people and had conversations…

I liked it a lot and I thought Jack Black and Kate Winslet were adorable together, but it was so cheesy. The scene where Kate Winslet's character wakes up in the fancy house and starts dancing in bed makes me want to die.

Idk what it is about it (very likely its Jack black lol) but it's my go to movie for watching in December with a baileys over ice lol

See the fact that it was just a frothy Hallmark movie with an actual budget is what makes it enjoyable? It is very obviously not trying to do much of anything at all and I appreciate that
