yeah, the trainer is the biological father of her kid(s). She made it a point to mention that the trainer had blonde hair and big blue eyes and the baby is blonde with blue eyes.

A lot of tv shows go with the simplest explanation of "kid must have same hair/eye color as parents" so I agree that Daphne was not so subtly telling Harper that at least one of the kids is the trainer's, but in Cameron's defense (ugh, I can't believe I was forced to type that!), blonde hair and blue eyes are recessive so there's no reason for him to assume that the kids aren't his. It is common/normal for blonde kids to have one or both parents with dark hair/eyes.
