This is the season that I’ve enjoyed him the most. He usually doesn’t how much a personality to me.

It’s wild because with his other partners (including Jana Kramer who he was sleeping with) the choreography was super raunchy but the chemistry was zero. This is by far his strongest partnership. He’s leaned towards flirty or romantic with the choreography and Gleb and Shangela have great chemistry. Shangela fixed Gleb. It’s a miracle.

all of the pros used to hook up lmao cheryl's talked about how crazy things were bts lmao she specifically named maks and mark as two ppl who she had flings with at some point. there are definitely a few celeb/pro rships too (mark and sabrina, derek and shannon, artem and nikki literally had a baby together lol i could go on)

now everyone is married and/or mormon so it's not nearly as fun as it used to be.

I think that was partly due to their ages. Cheryl was 21 when she started on the show and Maks was 25. That's the age when people are hooking up somewhat recklessly so it's no surprise that it happened with DWTS. I hope that eventually one of the pros will write a tell all book about all of the hookups on the show because I'm a nosy biatch.

ITA but I'm still not 100% how/why it happened. Maybe by not relying on raunchy choreography, he was forced to use some flirty personality when performing? Whatever it is, I hope that this version of Gleb continues after his partnership with Shangela. I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed him with Shangela.
