i fell madly in love with regé-jean this month and ontd's opinion of him is truly perplexing. maybe the nicer stuff was written before he got a tag. :P

if movies don't work out, i'd be happy just to see him model beautiful clothes and have charming conversations for the rest of my life.

Nah. Ontd hates him for no reason. It's wild. They will tell you that it's because he's "ungrateful" and talked shit about Bridgerton but in same sentenced they will also say that the show doesn't need him anyway. Perplexing. He actually never said anything bad about the show, just that he fulfilled his contract and was done.

I think ONTD doesn't like his acting? But let's be real because there are far worse actors who have gotten more opportunities and endless chances from the film industry.

Mostly clowning on him for seemingly thinking he's so much better than Bridgerton when his career outside of it has been pretty flop.

I find him so hot and charming. And I actually liked his performance on Bridgerton. There's a reason why he became the most popular actor on the show on season 1, and it's not only because of his looks, because there are a lot of hot actors with much less talent out there, so ONTD's general opinion of him is perplexing to me too.

And I don't think his career has been a flop post-Bridgerton, since he's still getting roles, and sponsors. And he signed a contract for one season, and apparently Netflix offered him little money to make some cameos.
