sourceafter the porn ban back in 2018 almost killed the platform tumblr now says that nudity, mature subject matters, and sexual themes are ok to post again. not explicit porn tho. so yay for boobs

When the tumblr porn ban first happened, they removed a picture of me in bed (fully clothed) under the covers with a cardboard cut-out of NPH (look, it was a weird time in my life, okay?) and said it contained sexual content.

i used tumblr while i was in the free! fandom and just a few weeks ago, i realized i had a hell lot of posts flagged as nsfw because they contained screencaps from the anime. i think i spent over half an hour going through all of them and writing "it is a screencap from an anime, they are swimming in a pool." to get them unflagged.
