Back in 2010, Funny or Die created a movie trailer for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, which was a fictional parody of biopics about musicians. Over a decade later, the movie has become a reality (and was directed by Eric Appel, the guy who created the original sketch). Me too! He popped up at a Weezer show I went to a few years ago to do an accordion solo on Africa and I almost cried.

My husband and I took his daughters to see Weird Al for their first concert. Third row! He walked right by us and they got to touch his sleeve!
