My first episode was Darkness Falls with the weird spiders that eat you in the dark and Scully was dressed in that huge 90's parka that looked like it swallowed her whole. I instantly loved the show!

Darkness Falls was still in S1 and the necessity of hiding her pregnancy was more of an early S2 problem with them pulling all the classics: Oversized coats, hiding behind objects, weird angles, lots of sitting.

Which means they gave her that funky oversized parka because... 90s fashion! lmao
