Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston

Oh he absolutely loved Whitney, I don’t think it was a secret. IIRC, he called her his one true love and spoke at her funeral.

I think he was into her, but she didn't reciprocate at all. Whitney's type was Bobby Brown, handsome black guy with a streetwise, bad boy image. Kevin was several years older than her, too. In retrospect, Whitney would probably have been better off she had married Kevin instead and gone to live on his ranch.

I also think this ignores the idea that Whitney was probably gay (I know Bobby Brown has said that, but who knows) and only ever got married to any man because of how religious her mother was.

We don’t know how Whitney identified but she was at one point madly in love with her friend Robin/Robyn and they had a relationship that Cissy most definitely didn’t approve of. But she also known to have relationships with other men……
