Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge are reuniting for the first time since 2015. Their new single Edging will be released on Friday, October 14. The tour begins in March and tickets go on sale next week on October 17.

I tried to get tickets during the presale this morning but when I saw the prices I said absolutely fucking not! Blink is fun but it’s not like these guys even play their instruments very well? $245 per ticket for the lower bowl in Sacramento- fucking bye.

I was embarrassingly a big Korn fan in my youth, and for shits and giggles I looked them up not too long ago. One of the original guitarists found God some years back and left the band. It was pretty acrimonious, with him basically saying they were evil and led by the devil and all that. He wrote a book about leaving to do whatever dumb missionary-esque stuff he wanted to do.

He suddenly rejoined the band, so I looked back into it. Well, surprise surprise. He got scammed by ministers who kept telling him that God told them he needed to donate money. He had to file for bankruptcy. Magically, shortly after filing for bankruptcy, he ~had a vision~ of God telling him the way forward was to rejoin Korn.

I feel like this may be something similar. His UFO hobby is probably more expensive than he anticipated and needs to supplement his income.
