Sunday, October 9, marked the tenth anniversary of Halcyon, the sophomore album by English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding.
Arriving nearly three years after her debut, Halcyon was praised by critics for its bold production and Goulding's powerful vocals. It debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums chart with 33,425 copies sold, and spawned three singles, the first of which ("Anything Could Happen") landed at No. 5 on the UK Singles chart.In 2013, the album was reissued as Halcyon Days with 10 new tracks, including the No.1 single "Burn."
Now, Goulding is marking its tenth anniversary with another reissue, Halcyon Nights, which boasts 18 bonus tracks.
