I haven’t watched this show since Roanoke. Did it maintain its footing at all?

I thought 1984 was good.

Oh cute. I remember I think that Roanoke was the first season they weren’t writing as the damn show was airing and it was entertaining and cohesive to me due to that. Maybe I’ll catch up soon.

1984 was horrible but someone argued that it was intentional 80s acting so I accepted it.

also american horror stories is objectively bad. it's theater camp for nepotism babies.

BUT the actors i like seem to be having fun and i'm a big fan of people like leslie grossman and gabourey maintaining employment.

I prefer the anthologies because they are standalones and while some episodes are better than others when it's good it's really good.

No, lmao. I know a lot of people hate everything after Asylum, but Roanoke was the true beginning of the end, imo.

I enjoyed 1984 enough as a fan of slasher movies. The first half of the last season (can’t remember what it was called but it was vampires in New England) was one of the best in a while but the second half of the season (a different story) was one of the worst things I have ever seen, good god.
