the fury I had on Brooke's behalf watching Hogan Knows Best was boundless and Hulk was so openly treating the kids differently and always trying to justify his sexism. Brooke literally would just want to live a regular life while Nick was already out of control and yet even though she was older he would do shit like track her car on dates or whatever.

It's not on the list but Breaking Bonaduce was GENUINELY horrific to watch/experience. I wonder about his kids having to grow up with such a volatile parent and such a hectic environment and the way Gretchen(?) was emotionally manipulated and abused was a LOT. I distinctly remember her going with her girlfriends to a bachelorette party one was having in a hotel room and then a male stripper pops up and Gretchen goes to hide in the bathroom because she KNOWS Danny is going to go off the rails. He learns of the party, immediately blames her for even being their and LEGIT grand theft auto some random person's car to drag her home, yell at her and then IIRC threaten to self harm/end his own life??

He's had a lot of smoke for her post divorce but honestly NOTHING she could've done during or after it can compare to his constant stream of mess and unhealthy behavior.

i was a preteen when hogan knows best was on so i dont remember everything but i still remember him being a total creep with her. i hope she has distance herself to him by now

The fact that he married her on their first date (IIRC) because she wanted to wait until marriage for sex and that they were married for nearly 20 years afterwards is VERY terrifying? Everything about that even what little of the show I can remember - mainly his temper - is just so much. HOW was this on television??

I didn't watch all the vh1 shows, and Breaking Bonaduce was one i did not see because I did not care. Also avoided Celebrity Rehab like the plague because Dr. Drew is a hack
