I disagree because it crushed the hopes and dreams of thousands of Depp stans.
There were Deux Moi "confirmations", blind items, they swore that Tim Burton would have his back, etc. for months!

to me it is even more amusing that it is not a huge big A name celebrity.
Because if it would have been Christopher Lloyd, Depp stans could use the excuse of "yeah well, it makes sense it would be him!"
