this morning a couple of ppl i follow on stan twitter were earnestly tweeting about mental health and the importance of “being kind” bc someone in the fandom was hospitalized after self harming

then i check the tl and all the same accs are tweeting jokes about this dude being ugly

the cognitive dissonance is STAGGERING

imo ontd is slightly different bc at least the chances of the celeb reading it are much lower. they’re much more likely to see it on twitter and instagram, esp if it’s in their mentions or the hashtag

Like, we are all aware that an emotionally fragile human living in a world of shit can look like this rich white man and now feel his face is too ugly to ever emerge from his house, right? Or is that okay because it’s funny?
