Dave Navarro to miss the Jane's Addiction tour due to battle with long COVID

Jane's Addiction is going on tour with the Smashing Pumpkins this fall, but Dave will not be present:
"I had hoped for a full recovery by October but I am still very fatigued and will not be able to join this leg. I am personally gutted as our original bass player has returned, Eric Avery. We wanted to bring you the original line up but that will have to wait until I am recovered."
He's been dealing with long COVID since last December, and says he will make new music for the band in the meantime.
