Last film watched was Austenland; very cute and silly and exactly what I needed. Next cinema visit will be for Ticket to Paradise (it's free, after all).

Austenland is pure fluff. It could have been better, but it was cute

I watched Lou on Netflix with Allison Janney and Jurnee Smollet and Lou kicks ass. Taut thriller good story well done with the two leads plus the child who is also great. A few twists and turns and ends with a wink and nod.

I won’t be able to get to cinema plus Ian is heading my way, tame but lots of wind and rain so it’s indoor time

Up Next > Maybe The Greatest Beer Run Ever on Apple but it’s 39 🤢 and Ambulance 68 🍅 on Amazon

I like Ana de Armas but I won’t even hate watch Blonde and don’t know who thought that film was a good idea

It's clear I need some lighter stuff right now, so deciding between watching Enola Holmes, Love in the Villa or Look Both Ways.

I'm pushing 30 and Enola Holmes has definitely become a comfort watch

Going to see Bros on Saturday. Sad that it's looking like a flop because it's what a lot of people have asked for for a long time, a big studio gay romantic comedy that isn't about coming out or based in trauma. I really hope an underperformance doesn't sink the chances of more movies like it.

Kind of afraid to see Smile, lol... may have to see if my cousin wants to go, because my husband refuses.

Saw God's Creatures last week and really liked it. The cast is all great, particularly Emily Watson, and while it's a very slow and subtle film, the atmosphere and general unease are perfect.

oh and I will definitely be watching Hocus Pocus 2! Trying to avoid reading too much about it, but the reviews I saw seemed fairly positive so that's encouraging.

I regret watching the trailer for God’s Creatures because I feel it gave away way too much

I haven’t seen it yet, so I may be wrong

Yeah, it does. But to be fair, I don't think it ruins the movie or anything - it's more about the performances.

Greatest Beer Run Ever is a very bad movie! I’m probably seeing Smile and Bros on Saturday night.
