'American Horror Story's new season may be 'New York City'; potential plot and cast revealed
While not confirmed one of the prominent American Horror Story twitter accounts has posted these leaked posters for the upcoming season.

They later revealed this synopsis:
‘American Horror Story: New York City’ takes place in the late 1970’s in NYC, and centers around a group of LGBTQ individuals targeted by a serial killer. It also covers many other themes, including the aids crisis, NYC blackout, and famous NYC serial killers. #AHSNYC pic.twitter.com/fOWe3u0Qy9

The confirmed cast according to this source are Patti Lupone, Charlie Carver, Zachary Quinto, Isaac Powell, Sandra Bernhard, Billie Lourd, Russel Tovey, Leslie Grossman and Denis O’Hare. So no Sarah Paulson or Evan Peters this time.
On a related note various cast members were spotted filming on Fire Island in New York which would further support the NYC theme.
