* Based on Philip Pullman's third book The Amber Spyglass, the third and final season should be on our screens by the end of 2022. However, the BBC has yet to confirm an official release date.
* The BBC has confirmed that the following characters will all feature: Lyra (Dafne Keen), Will (Amir Wilson), Mrs Coulter (Ruth Wilson), Mary Malone (Simone Kirby), Serafina Pekkala (Ruta Gedmintas), Father MacPhail (Will Keen), and Lord Asriel (James McAvoy).
* In season 3, the angels will now take more physical forms. Actors Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Justice League), Simon Harrison (Endeavour), and Chipo Chung (Into the Badlands) will portray Balthamos, Baruch, and Xaphania, respectively, some of the noteworthy rebel angels from this story.
* Victoria Hamilton, who can currently be seen on Sky original series Cobra, will serve as the voice of Stelmaria, the snow leopard daemon of Lord Asriel (James McAvoy), in the HBO fantasy series for its third and final season, EW has learned exclusively. A character previously voiced by the late Helen McCrory.
