Zac Efron Says He 'Almost Died' After Shattering His Jaw

While promoting his new movie, The Greatest Beer Run Ever, at TIFF, an interviewer from Entertainment Tonight straight up asked Zac Efron if he had plastic surgery after debuting a new appearance.
"My mom told me. I don't really read the internet, so, I don’t really give a fuck," Efron said about rumors that he altered his face with surgery. "[The internet jokes were] funny," he added. "It sucks. I almost died, but we're good."

Zac told Mens Health recently that he slipped while running in his home and smashed his chin into a granite fountain. He lost consciousness and woke up with his chin bone hanging off his face. While Zac suffered the severe injuries, the masseter muscles on the inside of his face and jaw then 'compensated' for his injury causing them to grow in size.
