He's generally known to be a huge nightmare on set [they straight up wrote him off Boardwalk over it, even though he was a fan favorite]. But if I'm remembering correctly, he might have had some past drug abuse too

they used a new actor for the same character he played on Hannibal (mason verger) so he was run out of there too. iirc they said it was “scheduling issues,” but. yanno 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hmm I do think I had heard similar things about him in the past. I always chalked it up as pretentious method actors business but mix in the drugs and that’s a disaster.

I do hope he gets better though :/

for a long time, I would only ever see him here on the subway at the weirdest hours nodding off. He always looked ashen. I don't live off the L anymore, but I saw him just a couple weeks ago, looking no better. it's sad.
