Do we need another movie taking place in South Asia that centers a white person?

Aren’t most movies made in South Asia center around south Asian people? Hindi cinema has overtaken the U.S. film industry to become the largest centre for film production in the world…
This movie is in fact an anomaly in the massive wave of movies that get released yearly… people here are unhinged…

And how many of those Bollywood movies get wide releases in the US?

RRR is the exception and only a VERY recent release. And even then it was not released in movie theaters in America. I'm talking about movies that get released worldwide, though specifically English speaking countries since we're comparing American or British made movies centering white people to Hollywood features starring south Asians and/or Bollywood movies. Bollywood movies typically do not receive the same type of release the exotic marigold hotel did, for example, or the impossible. Both of those movies were widely released in major chain theaters in nearly every city across America.

I'm racking my brain trying to think of the last time I saw a movie about Indian people in India in a movie theater that was at a large movie theater and not an arthouse or small specialty theater and can only come up with slum dog millionaire and how many years ago was that?

I think it's fair to complain about yet another white people discovering themselves in Asia movie
