i don't think we'll never know the whole truth. i haven't read anything about police reports - usually, the "evidence" people point to as proof of abuse in discussions i've read is hearsay by other actors, and ones who had professional differences with joan at that (though not, ironically, bette davis). and there are claims made by christina that are categorically false, for example that joan's twin daughters were not in fact twin sisters or sisters at all but that she presented them to the world as such.

and again, it's not a crawford fan page. is she a fan of joan's, and old hollywood in general? yes, but she's someone who backs up her claims with outside sources. as someone else commented, she was also heavily researching a biography of (iirc) robert montgomery - this is not someone willing people to believe good things about joan crawford, but a fan who also happens to be working in the interest of getting closer to the truth. i don't say all this in an attempt to sway your opinion, as it is what it is, but i don't think based on that portion of the post i shared that what she wrote should be altogether dismissed. 🤷🏼‍♂️
