I really don't think it's necessary to defend her here. She hired a domestic abuser then (it appears) she lied to make it seem like he was fired to protect the female lead when really he backed out. Disingenuously using 'social justice speak' is a feature of Peak White Feminism so, yeah, this fits.

But that's always kind of the catch with these things. Do you hold women to the standards that men aren't held to and therefore exacerbate these differences or are you gonna engage in a race to the bottom where standards aren't a thing bc they aren't a thing for white men?

Men not getting scrutinized as much doesn't mean shitty women shouldn't face high levels of it. She is getting sexist critique, but i think wealthy/powerful ppl should have their feet held to the fire when they enable abusers and lie about it
