I really don't think it's necessary to defend her here. She hired a domestic abuser then (it appears) she lied to make it seem like he was fired to protect the female lead when really he backed out. Disingenuously using 'social justice speak' is a feature of Peak White Feminism so, yeah, this fits.

Yeah like a lot of the criticism she's getting isn't totally unfounded but I also doubt it would be a thing or as much of a thing if she was a man
