It was a thriller with Michael Keaton about electronic voice phenomena whatever that is. It even got a sequel. 2005 movie. 7% on RT.

I thought it was about that. I vaguely recall the sequel having Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff, maybe? Why do I remember the most random things?!

The sequel got a 75 on RT! Out of 10 whole reviews! It was direct to DVD in the US lol. So says wiki. But yes that cast is correct.
