hey, they’re also turning CNN to Fox News 2.0, so that’ll make them more popular instead of alienating their remaining viewers, right?

Is this for real? That'd be network suicide. CNN is still pretty fair when it comes to news reporting as far as I know.

Its new head met with Republicans to ask them how to make CNN more agreeable to them, and given that the only perspectives allowed in GOP politics nowadays are 1) Whatever Trump does is okay, 2) You can throw out free elections if you don’t like the results, 3) Coups are no big deal, and 4) All these 10-year-old rape victims and pregnant women near-death with sepsis are liars, that doesn’t speak well for their new direction. And they just fired a guy who Fox News and MAGA types are obsessed with.

And you’re right, itwon’t get them new viewers from the right, because cultism has them deadset against CNN, and it won’t win over sane viewers. All it’s gonna do is make the media landscape more friendly for fascists.

I hope it doesn't go through. The consequences are too horrific to think of. Everyday we're inching closer and closer to 1984. :(
