Paul Rudd has been cast in S3! Series co-creator John Hoffman said: “Paul Rudd, after making an auspicious entrance into the world of our show at the end of Season 2 as Ben Glenroy, is someone we clearly want to know more about and see in our upcoming Season 3 - as he is a clear source of many upcoming questions and, as ever with our show, many twists yet to come!”

August 23, 2022 Showrunner John Hoffman discusses the S2 finale and future plans for the show
- He doesn't have a five year plan for the show and says each season is a brand new journey. “I know there have been funny discussions about how many murders can there be in one building, but I think that’s a fun challenge.”
- Steve Martin had one requirement for the show: “I just wanna know that you’re OK with every single season, we know exactly who did it, and it feels like a satisfying ending, that we don’t leave something ambiguous, and that we don’t leave something to continue over from season to season, that each season feels like it’s a complete story. Then we kick into something else in some unusual way.”
- Steve Martin has said this show might be the last thing he does before retiring. John Hoffman: "I think people might wonder for a moment, 'How are they gonna do the show without Steve?' So, that part of it, I don’t foresee a way in which we do the show without Steve or any of them, frankly."
