****Random spoiler thoughts****
Of COURSE Isaac would confess the second he got kiss.
I was low-key hoping Maeve going to America would be a good out for her to leave the show, or at least for most of the season (thought she wasn't coming back for other projects).
I kiiinda liked the Otis/Ruby pairing, but ooof. Dropping that I Love You THAT soon into the relationship. Gurl, dial it back.
I had expected the Adam situation to be either he was too overwhelmed by being out and really uncomfortable, OR the opposite, and he just turned into a manwhore and f'd any hot guy that comes his way.
Wasn't expecting Eric to be the asshole (i mean, sort of. He was really not being reasonable with Adam most of the time).
Who would have thought I'd be hoping for a redemption arc of Adams dad.
The Hope storyline was weird, but i guess you need to tie an overarching plot to tie on all the kids at school together.
Did anyone think that Viv and Jackson were a couple for the first few episodes?? It wasn't til like half way thru the season I was like "oooh, they're just friends".
The non binary stuff was kind of heavy handed, but everything on this show is kind of heavy handed.
Had Glee flashbacks with the Peaches band song.
Can Jean really afford to give all these free therapy sessions to people?
I was really worried that something bad was gonna happen to Eric in Nigeria. The cab scene, then he told him to wait outside for a minute. Oof, so many things.
I also thought maybe the photo of him and Adam in his backpack might fall out at the airport or a family member saw it.
