As someone who doesn't get the appeal of the Kill Bill films and thinks that they're genuinely not very good, I'm glad she isn't in it (:

Her and Tarantino being friends is new to me, tho? At least, I've never heard of anything like that before, and they haven't worked together. Maybe more like superficial industry "friends"?

He went to see the good sis when she was in the hospital. That suggests that it's a lot more than just superficial.

idk I don't find it that weird for industry people to pay a respect visit to acquaintances in the hospital when they happen to be in the city anyway, tbh. Especially in such a small place, where it wasn't that common to have Hollywood stars present. But I'm not making up excuses, might well be that they're actual friends, I've just never heard of it before or seen anything that suggested it. Fingers crossed she never works with him then, for multiple reasons.

Right. She has garnered all well deserved success and recognition in her own name that she is considered A+ list (and ought be by now!). It has been a long time coming so far now, legacy wise. Why spoil it by potentially working with him in the future? He’s way past his ~prime now. Like, he is far beneath her, reputation and filmography wise etc. It’d be unforgivable and unacceptable that if he ever ruins everything for her and disrespect her like that. I hope the good sis better wise up on this matter and work smart career wise long term. I just know she knows better

Tarantino is a massive fan (and clear copycat) of HK cinema, so I'm not surprised to find out that he visited her if he was in HK.
