i watched wedding season on netflix and it was cute! unsurprisingly corny but had more than enough charm to win me over.
for something completely different, i'm hoping to check out prey this weekend if i have the time.

[Spoiler (click to open)]total recall - this one i didn't watch for work purposes, but just bc i'm always excited when i find a sci-fi movie on streaming that i haven't seen yet lmao. this was fun, a lot gnarlier and weirder than i expected.
prey - so good, i can see why people are peeved about it going straight to hulu bc it would have made for an amazing theatre experience, especially with a crowd! but it was great as it was. the lead was fantastic.
lingua france - the 2019 film on netflix. moving and understated with a great lead performance, i liked it a lot.
crouching tiger hidden dragon - i can't BELIEVE i hadn't seen this until now!! i had no idea it was so driven by female characters, it was an amazing surprise. the choreography was insanely good and i was even moved by the romance storylines which is relatively rare for me in movies ( ... )
