August 3, 2022 If you're also sad that The Orville season 3 is over, here are some cool related things to checkout under the cut.
- Jessie Gender has
a second YouTube channel where she reviews the episodes and covers other Orville-related topics sometimes.
Here is her review of S3, ep 5, "A Tale of Two Topas".- I've been enjoying an Orville-related podcast called "Quantum Drive: The Orville podcast" with hosts Katie Peters and Rob Logan. It's available on Apple podcasts and elsewhere,
also on YouTube. They review all of the episodes, share well-researched trivia, have great discussions, and have a lot of cool interviews with the cast and crew. If you'd like to listen to a cool Orville podcast, this is the one to check out.
- There are always the comic books written by one of the show's writers, David A. Goodman. I've read and own them all and they're really good and worth it, imo. No news on whether we will get more, but we have six great stories already. Here's
an amazon link but don't forget to check your local independent comic book store first.
-- If you haven't had a chance yet, please check out Seth MacFarlane's tie-in novella, "Sympathy for the Devil". It's an episode from season three that they weren't able to film so Seth decided to write and publish it as a novella instead. I've read it and really enjoyed it.
FUN FACT: I didn't notice this before or I would have included it in my write up for "Domino" last week, but
Joe from Blue's Clues played a security officer on last week's show.
