Hey there’s an pretty damn good all-new episode of The Orville: New Horizons dropping on @hulu in a few minutes. - Seth MacFarlane (@SethMacFarlane) July 28, 2022
What do you think????? Favorite part? Least favorite? Only one episode left! 😭
[My thoughts (spoilers ahoy!)]I think this is the most action-packed episode yet! I loved the pteradon stuff, the underground mission stuff, the Kelly/Teleya fight (!!!!) -- I was worried one of them would kill the other actually, I loved all the twists and turns of shifting alliances and the crazy plotlines involving Admiral Ted Danson betraying the Union!!!! That was the saddest death for me honestly, despite his traitorous actions. I can't put my finger on it but I feel like this episode had some major plotholes? I don't know, the 180 of the Kaylon allegiance was just too sudden for me. I'm looking forward to the next episode to see where things are going. And as an Ed/Teleya shipper, I'm disappointed that Teleya is in custody and may never get out. Not that she doesn't deserve it but I just don't want to never see her again, although Ed never did give an answer to her ultimatum. I guess we'll see what happens with that. And what she said to Ed at the end was so hurtful OMG.
[A bit of a rant about the HTML on this site]I tried to post some gifs but the HTML wasn't working. Instead, I decided to share links to a couple of twitter threads about Dolly Parton being on the show and how they were able to shoot her scenes in last week's episode "Midnight Blue" because it's really interesting. Everything was working fine when I went to bed, but when I woke up I saw that the post had been rejected for being too long and not including a cut. So I tried to add a cut, the preview didn't show that it was working. I tried making every 'block' of code/paragraph underneath the cut its own cut, but it still wasn't showing up when I previewed the entry. I am all out of ideas and I am all out of F's to give, so I just cut all of the Dolly Parton stuff out so that I could at least get something up. Sorry.
