This fills me with malaise. The book already gave me pause. But the tone of the trailer, the rating, the male director and producers… This is messy.

I've read most of the book and I'm kind of disgusted about the NC17 rating, I can just picture some sicko salivating over which scenes to include. Gross.

It's basically MM pwp fanfiction. It's gross.

It seems so tone deaf because there is absolutely a story to be told about the sexism, sexual assaults, and harassment of Hollywood... but this story just leans into that instead, like it could somehow be "erotic", vomit.
