i need subtitles too it lets me watch things faster. i don't like second guessing what ppl said and sometimes i don't understand english accents

My brain is bad at deciphering spoken words when people speak fast, but it reacts too quickly to unfinished sentences. I have to write notes to myself to "slow down my mind and listen", and be an active listener.
This is why I don't like talking on the phone for work. People who speaks fast, please learn to speak slower for other people.

One thing I miss most about watching movies in Hong Kong movie theaters is the dual language subs. You have Chinese on top and English right under it; it's great for improving both language skills at the same time, lol. Honestly, Quebec would have a better chance improving people's French by doing this; their language police is a money laundering joke.
