First off, I'd like to remind everyone that the tie-in novella for the show, titled "Sympathy for the Devil", has released in ebook/audiobook form. Linking that post here for anyone needing more information. It's available on Amazon and through a Disney imprint. Maybe other places too, I haven't really checked.
Want to give a special mention to director @joncassar for this new episode. The scope, cinematography, and sheer artistic achievement on display here are breathtaking. I’m forever in awe of this guy’s talent. - Seth MacFarlane (@SethMacFarlane) July 21, 2022
The Orville: New Horizons season 3, episode 8, "Midnight Blue", is now on Hulu! What do you think??? Favorite part? Least favorite?
[My Thoughts SPOILER AHOY!!!]This is my second favorite episode of the season so far. I absolutely loved pretty much everything about it. I can't BELIEVE they got Dolly Parton!!!! When the simulater door opened I kept thinking, 'who does Ed want her to see? It can't be Dolly Parton, that's crazy' AND THEN THEY DID IT!!!! THEY ACTUALLY WENT THERE!!!! I'll be enjoying spending the time to research the how/why/when of THAT casting! Anybody got any good interviews giving away the answers, I'm all ears!!!!! Okay, so the one SHOCKING thing that maybe I'm mis-reading... did anybody get the vibe during the canyon scene that there might be something between Kelly and Bortus?!?!?! Like... what was THAT?! Unless I'm crazy and was just imagining things, it will be SO interesting to see how THAT interesting dynamic plays out! Especially with Klyden back! WOW. I'm happy we finally got Dann and he had some lines, plus Yaphet got some lines. I loved all the council stuff, I loved everything, let's be real, I can't wait to see what happens in the last two episodes. If only our United Nations would kick out our own Moclus(es) I'll stop rambling now, sorry.
For anyone interested, I found some awesome season 2 gifs here.
