The only sus moment I can think of is that storyline in which it turned out they had kissed each other because it was dark and they thought they were kissing other people, but OTHERWISE, pretty cool sibling dynamic if you ask me.

It was fucked up to write that story in imo. It wasnt funny at all just incredibly disgusting

Idk it's not as fucked up to me? Maybe Arrested Development fucked up my brain so bad. Like, they made the underage cousins (they end up not being related but still) actually fool around. I love that show, but still, what the fuck.

I seem to remember AD added it to the pile of things to ridicule George Michael for. With a very different style of humor. While Friends turned it into just another joke, punctuated by a laughing audience, as if it were Joey saying "how you doin" or something. It was weird to see it getting that same generic treatment.

Just another chance to be fatphobic to Monica. "I WAS the pile of coats"

That he thought was Rachel (which whole other issue) and she didn’t know was him.

yeah sure but it still happened and when they discovered they had kissed each other there was a laugh track like wtf not funny at all

Not a laugh track. An audience.

They were literally shouting in horror and Chandler stating ‘what have I married into’

are you gonna keep adding and correcting little details like i didn't watch the episode? lmfao

1:15 Monica goes "Oh! Oh!" and the audience laughs.

then Ross goes "No! No! No!", the audience laughs again.

"I was the pile of coats!" laugh

Ross' "Oh my god!", laugh

"You were my midnight mystery kisser?" laugh

"You were my first kiss with Rachel?" laugh

"You were my first kiss EVER?" laugh

Chandler: "What did I marry into!?" laugh

so yeah.

Idk why you're purposefully misinterpreting the scene bc this just proves OP's point. It was played for laughs - it's a sitcom after all - much like other problematic moments in the show, but both of their reactions (and Chandler's) are of disgust so the situation definitely doesn't illustrate this topic.
