One source called the Justice League cut that Zack Snyder screened to studio heads in 2017 "unwatchable" and "joyless."

July 19, 2022 -There a couple feuds as old as time, the Charmed feud has evolved over 2 decades and now it seems like the Snyder/WB 'Justice League' feud wont be ending anytime soon either...
-In new documents that they have obtained we get a glimpse behind the curtain as WB looked into the twitter hashtag to release the snyder cut and restore the snyder universe.
-RS alleges that Snyder fought for Geoff Jones and Jon Berg be removed from the Snyder Justice League film and if they didnt then he allegedly threatened to destroy them on social media.
-Snyder allegedly demanded the studio give him more money to complete his version of JL (he eventually got $70 mill totalling JL in itself costing around $370 mill) and attempted to put Green Lantern, John Stewart in the film without permission from DC/WB before being forced to take him out.
-When WB decided to look into the Snyder movement to get his cut released they found 13% of the accounts were fake compared to the usual 5% that is typically found for trending topics. After the films release they saw the # restorethesnyderverse go from 1million tweets a day down to 40k tweets a day which is unusual claims a digital marketing exec.
-The negativity of the Snydercult got so bad that WB hired security for some of their employees after an account posted a picture "depicting the decapitated heads of Johns, DC Films president Walter Hamada, and former Warner Bros. Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich"
-TL;DR version: The Snydercult was toxic. WB allegedly believes that Snyder was behind it and helped fund campaigns not only for the films release but also hyping up Ray Fisher to lead an attack on the studio via social media. Discovery bosses have no interest in all of this back/forth since it was PL, Pre-Lu (iykyk) basically before their time and they focused on the now.
