Rye Rye, who you might know from working with M.I.A. and appearing in 21 Jump Street, has had her voice sampled in hundreds of tracks for a loooong time. If you've ever listened to jersey club or bmore you might be familiar with her small voice saying "what" that's sampled from a 2006 track called Shake It to the Ground. That was okay when it was just mixes in soundcloud and the club, but now people like Drake are using her voice without credit.

For reference, the song that Rye Rye's voice is being sampled from was originally released on Diplo's Mad Decent record label. Diplo is a man who took a picture of his penis above a urine filled toilet. Rye Rye says that Diplo hasn't helped her out at all throughout this process

& it’s so funny cause somebody from buzzfeed hit me up to do an interview about @diplo while he was going through all the sexual abuse allegations and I was still being loyal and declined to say anything ..silly me 😫and this man can’t even speak up about my samples 🤦🏾♀️
