T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh is reprising her beloved character, Tanya Baxter.
Keymáh, who played Raven's mom for the first three seasons on the original Disney Channel series, will make a special guest appearance in the upcoming season 5 finale. In the episode, Raven’s mom Tanya Baxter (Keymáh) arrives from London to surprise her husband Victor (Rondell Sheridan) for his 60th birthday party.
Keymáh's return marks the first time she will play Tanya since Season 3 of That's So Raven all the way back in 2005.
It was explained in Season 4 of That's So Raven, that Tanya had left for London to attend law school. In real life, Keymáh took a step away from acting to care for her grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's.
The episode will air later this year.
