I don't trust it and won't trust it because of who's behind it. All arguments for me on how much it might help someone who is grieving, is entirely lost when you view it as exploitation of the grieving for company research motives and profit margins. That's without the fact that you know more than a few stalkers will give it a try.

I can't believe we're handing over our dead to the tech companies. Makes sense when you realize legal protections end at death, but I still think it's ghoulish as hell.

This scares me. Period.

Or it being used for nefarious purposes. Suddenly on the news you hear, let's say, a politicians voice saying something, that isn't really them, or something to that effect.

The fucking thing is creepy as hell. And I don't trust tech companies as far as I can throw them.

Does it also start crying and begging for life when you try to cancel your subscription like on The Good Place.

I just read it and it freaked me the fuck out. Sure it's not as different as playing old videos but this is just..idk sinister to me?

And I do have loved ones that I miss dearly. I'd love to be able to say hi to my grandpa, listening to one of his stories again. Or a loved one. I have a build a bear bear with the recording of someone I lost so I get it. I do. But this is the Beginning of all the dystopia shit we read. No good
