HBO is developing a Game of Thrones sequel series around Jon Snow with Kit Harington returning to the role.

God knows I love Jon but idk how to feel about this, the end was truly shit so how can they fix

Exactly. To the point the bankrupt Hollywood is desperate for something to keep the show going on… secondhand embarrassment in America we suffer is ridiculously enough.

I meant "Hollywood" as a generic platform where things come to present content for consumer approval/production.

Where the money comes from is how country of origin is determined for awards. Usually that's where all the executives are from as well.

Crew is usually local. That's why so many American productions are filmed in obscure areas. Malta and Croatia don't get credit just because it was filmed there.

i always feel like hollywood looks at what people are watching and thinks 'let me do the exact opposite' or they think 'okay, lemme remake that' and don't understand why original properties are so loved (i'm talking about k-dramas... there's like 2 ways you can remake hotel del luna and it be good and i don't trust hollywood to do either).

I've sort of come to terms with Hollywood never giving me what I want (like i'm super specific so it's won't ever happen).
