Beanie Feldstein and Jane Lynch are set to depart Funny Girl on September 25th, six months after performances began. The male leads, Ramin Karimloo and Jared Grimes, will remain with the show. Replacements have not yet been announced. The production has not been warmly received by critics, and missed a Best Revival of a Musical nomination, but has been financially successful.

Broadway's Come From Away has set a closing date of October 2nd, 2022, after 1,670 performances. The show opened in 2017 and was critically and commercially successful, and a pro-shot version is available on Apple TV+.

Dear Evan Hansen, the Tony-winning musical of 2017, has set a closing date of September 18th. The show was critically and commercially successful, but never recovered from the Broadway pandemic closure (and the flop movie, lbr).

Tina, the musical about the life of Tina Turner, suffered similar difficulties in drawing an audience post-pandemic closure. That show will close on Broadway on August 14th.

Both shows will continue on via their touring productions.

Jodie Comer is set to make her Broadway debut in Prima Facie, transferring from London's West End next spring in a Shubert theater to be named later. Comer earned critical raves, and the show wraps its West End run June 18th.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Corey Hawkins are heading to Broadway this fall to star in the 20th anniversary revival of Topdog/Underdog, written by Suzan-Lori Parks. The play, about a pair of brothers and their past, will begin its 16-week limited engagement September 27 at the John Golden Theatre, with opening night set for October 20. The initial Broadway run starred Jeffrey Wright and Mos Def, and scored a pair of Tony nominations.
