Yesterday, during the Platinum Jubilee parade or something, Prince Louis, age 4, had a tantrum on live television. He could be seen covering mom Kate's mouth, sticking his tongue out and pouting. Apparently, Kate eventually took him for a time out and he ( Read more... )

Maybe it's because I'm on UK twitter but I saw way more tweets supporting Kate and Louis and just saying that he's a normal 4yo. I can't imagine how dull this was for him.

Although you know if this was Harry and Meghan's kids, a certain demographic of UK twitter would be criticising their parenting.

And if people did that with Harry and Meghan's children, they should be called out as well. Children are children and it's ridiculous for anyone's parenting or child's health to be called into question for ten seconds of interaction, you know?

Calling Kate a bad mom or Louis a brat is insane lol

Yeah, I didn't see any negative tweets about it, I saw people thinking it was hilarious.

but I saw soooo many critical posts going "well if this was ARCHIE yall would be so mad" and it's like, yes and it'd be just as shitty? how is it any better that you're doing it though?

I'm on US twitter and there were thinkpieces galore. Basically that kid is raised by nannies, barely knows his parents, probably has ADHD, has no respect for his elders and is likely to grow up a delinquent and/or serial killer, if the ever trustworthy internet experts are to be believed (and they got massive likes for that crap, so that wasn't just isolated idiots). It was ridiculous and I barely saw people calling them out either!

yeah i saw that too.

Sussex squad on twitter: "it's awful how everyone compares Meghan to Kate, the 'perfect' one.

Also Sussex squad on twitter, whenever something about Kate is the topic of conversation: "WOW IF MEGHAN HAD DONE THIS THEN EVERYONE WOULD BE DOWN HER THROAT"

I mean like... probably? But Sussex stans bringing Meghan into the conversation when she's not even at the event is exactly the kind of Kate vs Meghan comparison that Sussex stans (rightly) complain about. So like.... why are they doing it themselves???

yeah exactly. its so exhausting and tbh i doubt meghan likes to be "defended" in the way that constantly pits her against everyone else (esp. kate). she and harry clearly care for the family and are monarchists.

At this rate - I’m surprised they didn’t find a way to blame Meghan for Louis’ behavior lol
