man every time they release a song i get excited thinking it will sound like their music did when i was in high school like 15 years have not passed lol

It’s because all the original members who contributed to the OG sound have left the band and it’s basically just Brendon Urie as a solo pop act now. I personally don’t think he should continue using the name of the band but that’s just me.
