Well damn. The first season of Slow Horses premiered back in April, but in those 2 months the show has been renewed for a second, third and fourth season. Slow Horses is described as a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House.
The show is based on the “Slough House” spy book series by Mick Herron. Season 1 was based on the first book in novel series, “Slow Horses.” Season 2 of the show, which is expected to debut later this year, is based on the novel “Dead Lions.” The next two seasons will be based on the books “Real Tigers” and “Spook Street.”
