This is such an underrated song from the original. I remember watching this scene in the theatre with tears streaming down my face. Also, the singer (Jon McLaughlin) was so damn hot lol.

I really loved the song

...but then like a month after the movie came out I went to a family friend's wedding and she chose it as their first dance song and it was....really fucking weird.

(Also they lasted like 4 years and then divorced)

I was obsessed with him but he was like very Christian and it turned me off. Beating My Heart is a fucking bop those, his voice is beautiful.
