25 years after the release of the film "The Fifth Element," Milla Jovovich talks about her iconic Jean Paul Gaultier-designed costume and how playing the character of Leeloo immeasurably changed her life.
basically as bad as it sounds - the skin is forcibly pulled enough to detach from the connective muscle underneath. there's closed degloving where the skin is intact but disconnected from tissue and degloving where both the tissue and skin are ripped to expose muscle and bone. i'm guessing olivia experienced the latter but idk if there are pictures so i don't want to google her specific case
For what its worth, no gruesome pictures of her face and it was repaired perfectly.
I love her instagram; and I think the only hard to look at part is that she shows pictures of her torso and it’s permanently twisted now and seems painful. She is physically gifted so makes the most of her situation (lots of martial arts and horseback riding) but it seems like it’s painful work.
