What this series deserves to be honest. There was no need to make this. The movie isn’t perfect but it’s a fairly good adaption of the book - that managed to NOT overly focus on the weirdness of the two mains meeting when one was a grown man and one was a little girl. Also, Rachel and Eric were flawless and had wonderful chemistry.

Mainly because Rachel and Eric are wonderful actors and Rose can go fuck herself with her shit.

She and Jon Snow deserve each other. Both shitty actors. Her whole family can go fuck themselves too.

This reminds me that Rachel was also in About Time, another time travel shenanigans movie that leaned towards creepy but was saved by the chemistry between the leads and the dad storyline.

About Time is def a problematic fave. He absolutely manipulates her into a relationship and she never finds out what he did but damn if Rachel and Domhnall aren’t charming af.

Someone correct me if I'm mistaken, I've only seen the film once and never read the book

...but Henry FIRST meets Claire when they're both adults, right? in the library or something? She recognizes him obv bc she's been seeing him since childhood, but in his life's chronology she is a young adult the first time he meets her.
